Our journey began in 2021
My name is Jonathan and I started True Virtue Signs out of the hope of doing something to help people see each other in a new light as co-participants in creating authentic community and unity. The sayings on each sign have come to me as inspirations from my own reflections on the difficult current issues & inequities
spanning economic, racial/ethnic, social, and political domains.
The intent of each saying is to provide a point of reflection for people to see the opportunity that is always present to understand and seek goodness together. I hope that you too can be inspired of the possibilities of shared beauty, purpose, understanding, and unity.
Meet
Truebird + Freebird
Truebird and Freebird together are ambassadors of the thoughts, phrases, and meaning on the products created by True Virtue. Their kind flies and sings freely through the air, without arbitrary constraints or differences preventing them from flying together or hearing each other. If their chirps are drowned out by unpleasant dins that might cause discord or make heads spin, their wings can take them to a peaceful place elsewhere for them to be in. The air under their wings and the freedom in their being give inspiration to what True Virtue hopes to create and provide in its products – a sense that we all may be more similar than we are different, movement towards shared identity and purpose, and respect for the freedom to be oneself and pursue noble meaning together in community.

Goodwill + Justice
Spreading goodwill and justice is a constant endeavor and doesn’t end with just a yard sign purchase. That’s why 10% of every sign purchase is allocated for donation to social benefit groups and non-profits that are also dedicated to showing goodwill and justice.
